Early Preservation at the PMMP - In the 1940's, there were many damaged and missing grave markers at the Pioneer and Military Memorial Park. In this article from the Arizona Republic that was published on February 13, 1940, members of the Pioneers' Cemetery Association watch a stone mason repair a broken marker in City Loosley Cemetery.
